LongRanger I (v1)

Here are some photographs of an ACP LongRanger I (9kW) [c1992] utilizing
an air cooled B&S ICE .
Note that the unit is a modified stock generator; however, we have
been told it contains a custom wound ACP armature.

These next two (2) pictures are from the previous owner prior to acquisition. We can see the condition of the unit as acquired.

This is the previous owners eCivic and the LongRanger.

First day back to the shop and getting cleaned-up. We have sorted-out this RXT-G I to survivor status but will not be restoring it, as it represents the technology and efforts of the time. Preservation of history is our mission.

Note the ingenuity in using and modifying a Jerry Can for the gas tank. The modifications are simple, clean, and effective and include an emissions vapor collection system.
